Irem was born in Istanbul. After selling her textile business and retiring; she moved to Barcelona and returned to her real passion: cooking. While attending workshops and exploring grandma's secret receipts, she combines the old school and world cuisine approach in her home made delicious meals. The idea of cooking meals for working people came to her; thanks to her daughter who packs a lunchbox everyday for work. And this is how kitchy lunch was born.
